Good morning and welcome to our first blog post! Our plan here is to give you some insight into our community, the daily workings of our shop and in depth lash care and skincare!
For today I would like to introduce us! We are American Beauty Esthetics and we specialize in lashes and skincare. Our founder Taylor has been working as a lash tech for over 4 years and has learned from the best. She has some of the highest safety and quality standards in the Northern Colorado-Wyoming area. Taylor has certifications in many different areas from dermaplaning to specialized techniques with lashing and adhesives. As a Wellington Colorado based company we strive to offer our community the best in customer service and care. 
We strive to serve our community, and support other local businesses. Many of our products are from companies based in Colorado. This means that they are specially formulated for our dry climate. 
A little about our master lash tech and founder Taylor,
"I was raised here in colorful Colorado, I’ve been in Wellington since I was 10 years old. As a child I had a passion for skincare, I remember going to the local grocery store with my mother and stocking up on face masks for the week. After high school I went in for cosmetology school. Unfortunately life happens and I was a drop out at 20. I worked as a CNA, upholsterer, and commercial cleaner for several years. It wasn’t until I got a membership at a local med spa that I realized I was In the wrong industry. After esthetic school I went straight into lashes. It’s been a crazy journey for me but I have never been more passionate. I have almost three years experience at this point and one thing that i would say about myself, is that nobody else has your best interest at heart. I have built solid relationships with all my clients and I may not always know the answers but I remain determined to find out." -Taylor

Our team:
​We are a very small local team here at American Beauty. Taylor is our head esthetician and founder of the company. She has been working in the field for over 3 years. Formerly a highly reputable technician at a lash salon in Fort Collins, she left to follow her dream of opening her very own beauty salon. Along with her original licenses she has taken many specialty classes for certification in dremaplaning, chemical peels, lashes, and much more. Her work is on par with the best lash techs in the country and hands down the best in the Northern Colorado area.

​Our first priority is the health and safety of our clients. We want all of our services to be relaxing and comfortable for you. One of the ways we work to achieve that for all clients is our continual efforts and training on cleaning and disinfecting practices.
Did you know that you as our consumer have a specific Bill of rights under Colorado Law.
Every one of our clients has the right to:
- A Pre-Consultaion before any service to explain our service options expected results and possible side effects
- A service environment and work area that is NEVER dusty or dirty
- Have clean and disinfected OR new tools used for every service you receive
- Competent professional services
- Verify names, licenses, and credentials of our professionals providing services
- Refuse any service offered 
- Receive clear explanations of cost and services offered
- File a complaint with the Colorado office of barber and cosmetology for any practices, or unlicensed professionals
- Know that no service should hurt injure or put you at risk of an infection
