Your safety is our top priority. With everything in the world and new state mandated regulations we consistently do everything possible to keep our clients safe and healthy. If you have any symptoms of being sick please let us know and reschedule your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment you can text us and wait in your car, however this is not required. When you arrive for your appointment please wash your hands before coming into the office. If you would like to wait inside the suite or outside in the hall you are more than welcome to. We have a very small staff, no more than 2 people in the suite at any time for your safety. Face masks are REQUIRED by all clients. If you do not have a mask we will provide one for you. For the foreseeable future we will have both doors to our suite open and are requesting that you enter through the north door and exit from the south. That way we can maintain the 6ft required distance between clients if you choose to wait in the room.
We also have hand sanitizer refills for your old lash shampoo bottles for sale before or after your appointment. Thank you as always for your continued support and patronage during these unprecedented times.

LED Light therapyLight Therapy is great in every single facial to calm any areas of irritation and it’s also brilliant at brightening the skin. When used consistently, over time, LED lights are thought to penetrate your skin at different depths and cause various reactions in your skin, such as fighting acne-causing bacteria, plumping skin and reducing wrinkles. A course of treatments offers corrective and long-lasting results, although you’ll be able to see a difference after the first session. Light therapy is also particularly calming, so you’ll leave feeling refreshed. Light Therapy uses colour wavelengths of visible light which have specific skin benefits. As a result of ageing, skin disorders or trauma, healthy skin cells are compromised and unable to renew themselves normally. The skin uses the light as a source of energy to fuel the repair and rejuvenation of damaged cells, or, in the case of treating acne, kill bacteria. The energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, boosts circulation and accelerates tissue repair. During the treatment, you’ll simply lie underneath a light screen while the device does all the work.
With All going on now lets get back to the basics of proper lash careWe have currently been shut down until May 1. This means many of you will be going past the time you would normally be getting a relash. If you are careful with your lash care they will last (even if they are thin) until we open back up again.
~Make sure you wash and brush your lashes DAILY~ Especially if you are wearing makeup. Get those oils off your lashes, as oils are what will break down the adhesives used. Now this doesn't mean you won't loose any lashes at all but it will slow it down. IF you can try not wearing any makeup at all then there will be even less oil on your lashes in the first place. Now we normally recommend that you get our Lash Shampoo, but if you completely run out before we open back up again, there is another option. A very small amount of Baby shampoo and water used in the same way as lash shampoo is gentle enough on your lashes for this short time. It is not recommend for the long haul but for this short time it will help remove the oil from your lashes until you can come back in for more lash shampoo. Hello beauties! Fortunately you are still covered under our four week guarantee, and don’t forget we do offer 12 day touch ups for only $25. AB is here for you and be can handle anything together! ❤️
Here at American Beauty Esthetics, we are excited to not only continue expanding our services for our wonderful clients, but also go above and beyond creating the ultimate pampering experience. Starting in February, we will be adding nail services to our menu. This will include the very popular and natural-looking Dip Powder Nail manicure!
You may have heard of Dip Nails all over social media lately, but you might be wondering what exactly are they? Dip Nails are created by dusting the dipping powder on your real nails or extensions in a pigmented color and simply applying a base coat and sealant to protect your new mani. This type of manicure can last up to three to four weeks without chipping, unlike regular nail polish that tends to chip within a couple days! Dip Nails also don’t require UV light to cure like gel nails, which will save you from potentially harmful UV exposure. The result of a Dip Nail manicure will be beautiful nails with durability to boot. Keep an eye out for available appointments starting next month! -Taryn L. We all know that its all natural and very safe but how does it actually work?
Henna is a small tree, and its leaves contain a dye which stains your skin - similar to turmeric or beets. However with henna, the dye molecule (lawsone) binds to the keratin in your skin (and hair!), which makes it a permanent stain! Henna penetrates only the top few layers of skin, so as your skin exfoliates away, so does the henna stain. This is what makes it temporary compared with a permanent ink tattoo. Ink tattoos use a needle to penetrate deeply enough that they will not exfoliate away. The stain will gradually darken over the course of about 48 hours. This happens because of oxidization. Air oxidizes the henna stain much like it does an apple. Henna is the dried, powdered leaf of the henna plant. It's mixed with a liquid, sugar and essential oils to get the proper consistency for brow staining. Henna is completely natural! If you find that your brows are thin in spots henna is the perfect solution for you. Not only does henna dye the hair follicles but it will also stain your skin, giving you brows that appear thicker and look darker. Because of the fact that henna also tints your skin this means that your brows will look fabulous for longer, and you won't need to come in as often for fills. Henna is also completely safe for use on your lashes, so ask us about henna tints for lashes next time you come in! Skincare you buy from the drug stores & department store or your neighborhood beauty rep (even some of the pricier ones) are not monitored at the same FDA and dermatology standards. First, medical grade skin care is required to be tested by the FDA for 10 years and 99% pure, cosmetic grade is not required to be FDA tested and is only held at 70% purity. Second, the active ingredients in medical grade skin care is always higher in percentage, quality and efficacy claims than that of cosmetic grade skin care. For this reason, medical grade skin care is only available through professionals.
As a result, cosmetic grade products typically don’t deliver the desired effect in a timely manner, if at all. Bottom line – They’re often a waste of money. To sum it up, the cosmetics products aren’t regulated the same way that medical products are, so it’s up to the manufacturer to make sure products are safe and consistent. Why Lash extensions?
